This was Kettle Bridge Concertinas’ third visit to Maidstone Museum, with thirteen members taking part on this occasion. A great selection of tunes were played in the beautiful wood panelled Withdrawing Room in front of the impressive fireplace. Visitors were able to walk through the room on their way to other parts of the museum or simply stop, sit and listen to the music.

It was Valentine’s Day and, with romance in the air, there was music to match the mood such as Hymn A l’Amour, Moon River, and even Daisy Daisy!

This was also our contribution to the celebration of World Concertina Day.
