Kettle Bridge Concertinas

A night of nifty knowledge

Kettle Bridge Concertinas held its first ever quiz night recently and it was a great success.

A total of 90 people came along and, by all accounts, they had an enjoyable evening. Subjects ranged from Horses to History and there was, appropriately enough, a Music round. And do you know what connects the Boswell family from Liverpool and a light bulb fitting?

To cap it all, we raised a very nice sum for club funds.

CALARA Concert

We recently had the privilege of entertaining the members of the Coxheath & Loose Active Retirement Association.

We played a mixture of well-known tunes for them to sing along to but also introduced them to the music of Claire Wren. Afterwards, over refreshments which the organisers kindly supplied, we had the opportunity to chat to the audience. This was a great way to round off a very enjoyable event.

World Concertina Day 2024

Kettle Bridge Concertinas’ contribution to the 2024 World Concertina Day was a visit to Maidstone Museum to raise the profile of the concertina with a session of performances and education.

Everything You Wanted To Know about Concertinas ...
