Spot the difference between 2019 and 2020!

Alex Wade had visited us in 2019 and we enjoyed a great day of tunes and teaching. This year, Alex didn’t need to make the long journey from Newcastle, but joined us from her attic, thanks to the wonders of modern technology!

Alex took us through a Danish tune “Den Toppede Hone” (the beheaded hen) at a ‘steady speed’, taught us how to add embellishment, shorten and sustain notes in order to enhance the tune and make it our own.

Thank you Alex for all your hard work — a great session which gave us plenty to work on.
