Several of us descended on the Haven Care Home in Tovil to play some Christmas carols to the residents. This had been arranged by Fiona whose grandparents are resident at the Haven. Trina's mother has also recently moved there, so it was lovely to have that connection.

We spent a very pleasant hour seated in their conservatory, going through most of our carol collection. Val did a great job in getting some of the residents to join in with the singing and Pat provided some jingle bells which members of the audience shook with gusto.

We hope the residents enjoyed it as much as we did and hopefully we will be back there next year — if not sooner.
